Around two hundred people gathered in Leicester to share a community iftaar or "breaking of the fast" as part of Ramadan.

It was organised by Green Guardians Leicester - an environmental muslim organisation which educates communities about reducing plastic and food waste.

Khush Sameja attended the event which was totally free of single-use plastic.
