After a disastrous start to her day, Shola finds herself overwhelmed, and her strange behaviour causes a panic, leaving the teachers to suspect that she’s hiding something from them. After a home visit, Shola’s conduct begins to make sense for a worried Val.
Kelly Jo’s first day out of the BU doesn’t get off to the best of starts when a kind-hearted gesture from Dean spectacularly backfires. Elsewhere, a wily Myles causes a fresh set of challenges for Joe, who’s already reeling from seeing an unexpected visitor, leaving him and Mike feeling uncertain about their future.
