The pupils were inspired by the old Sky Blue programme designed by John Elvin in the 1970/71 season.

His style as a designer was ahead of its time - cut-and-paste action shots, with Expressionist-style filters, pop-arty patterns, close-up photo portraits of players and a wide variety of typography.
