In December, Today鈥檚 Mishal Husain spoke to Frank Cottrell-Boyce, author of children鈥檚 books including 鈥楳illions鈥� and 鈥楾he Forgotten Coat鈥�. After hearing the interview, Nadia Shireen, children鈥檚 author and illustrator, reached out to Frank with the idea of starting a podcast discussing children鈥檚 literature.

Now, five months later, Today鈥檚 Justin Webb heard about their new podcast, 鈥業sland of Brilliant鈥�, where Frank and Nadia imagine themselves marooned on an island with nothing but children鈥檚 books to keep them company.

Aimed at adults, it鈥檚 both funny and imaginative: as Frank says, 鈥渂oredom is the compost of imagination鈥�.
