MPs "worried Swindon & Wiltshire will lose out" under ѿý Radio Wiltshire changes
Swindon's MPs write to the ѿý Director General opposing regionalising more radio programming. Sir Robert Buckland sets out concerns for the audiences served by ѿý Radio Wiltshire, speaking to Sue Kinnear. Featuring the ѿý's Director of Nations explaining the ѿý reasoning.
The ѿý says its 39 Local Radio stations including Wiltshire will continue to provide local programming throughout the week. A spokesperson said "we want to modernise local services so that however licence fee payers choose to get their local information, we’ll be there across radio, television and online for many years to come.”
