In 1998, a brain scientist and a philosopher made a bet. The stakes? A case of fine wine. The computational neuroscientist Christof Koch believed that within 25 years - that's right now - we would understand how the brain achieves consciousness. The Australian philosopher David Chalmers disagreed.
