Reforming Cricket: Liverpool Cricket Club leading the way
Equity in Cricket report has found that English Cricket suffers from widespread and deep-rooted racism, sexism, elitism and class-based discrimination at all levels of the game.
Over 4,000 people including players and coaches spoke to the Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket and the England and Wales Cricket Board have issued an unreserved apology.
The Board are promising to reform how the game is run but here in Liverpool, one club is already leading the way in encouraging girls and women to take up the sport.
Tom Walker has been to Liverpool Cricket Club in Aigburth where he met Pippa Roots and Arvind Aruminarthen who were coaching the girls team.
