NHS at 75: Meet long-serving volunteer Rita Archer
An 80-year-old woman with fifty years of volunteering experience has described the “difficult time” facing the NHS as it marks its 75th birthday. Rita Archer from Derby started her volunteering journey at a fundraiser in 1963, where she accidentally sold the event organiser’s jacket.
She’s been speaking to ѿý Radio Derby’s Ian Skye.
