The big debate - Gatwick's second runway
Gatwick Airport has formally submitted plans to bring it's emergency runway into routine use.
They say expanding the airport will create 14,000 new jobs for the wider area, including 3,000 at the airport itself. While also generating an extra £1bn annually for the local economy.
The announcement was made by their CEO, Stewart Wingate, who's been speaking to our political reporter, Jack Fiehn.
