Air Ambulance reaches 50,000 missions
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance which is based at Coventry airport has recently flown it's 50,000th mission.
It started back in 2003 and each flight costs £1700 to fund which has to met by donations as the service isn't fully funded by the NHS.
Jake Elliot's life was saved by the air ambulance after he was involved in a serious car crash in 2019.
He told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Tom Cooke what he thought of the work the crews do there..
