Chandrayaan-3: 'It's launching India into an elite orbit of nations'

India's space agency has successfully launched its latest mission to the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 has lifted off and will attempt to land a rover near the south pole of the moon.

If the mission works - and we won't know for several weeks - India will be just the fourth country to stage a controlled lunar landing, joining the US, the former Soviet Union, and China.

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Arunoday Mukharji was there to watch.
