Liverpool dad gets a defibrillator in all schools
When children return to school in September every single state school in the UK will have a potentially life-saving defibrillator.
The news comes after years of campaigning by The Oliver King Foundation.
The charity was set up in 2012 by Mark King, after the tragic death of his son, Oliver, following a sudden cardiac arrest during a PE lesson at the King David High School in Childwall aged 12.
The Department for Education have confirmed that over 20,000 defibrillators have now been installed in almost 18,000 schools across the country.
