Withington pub landlord the oldest in the country
A pub landlord in Manchester says after more than 60 years of pulling pints, he still has no plans to retire.
Tom Grogan celebrated his 92nd birthday in January and is believed to be the oldest publican in the country.
He began his career in the 1950s at The Crown in Rusholme. Another three pubs followed until Tom took over The Albert in Withington in the 1980s which he’s been running ever since.
