The Edinburgh Fringe attracts thousands of performers and audience members every year.

Comedian Ed Byrne, a mainstay of programmes such as Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo, is no exception. He joined Nihal Arthanayake on 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 Live to discuss his newest Edinburgh show.

Ed Byrne鈥檚 younger brother, Paul, passed away aged 44 in Feb 2022 following complications from Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Paul was a comedy director and worked with many comedians at all levels of the comedy scene.

Ed speaks at length on this topic in his new show, 鈥淭ragedy plus time鈥�. Talking to Nihal, Ed says 鈥淎t the time of the death I didn't think then that this would ever be something I would end up processing into a show.鈥�
