Handsworth riots revisited in new film
"Cars being overturned, set on fire and flipped like dominoes."
It's nearly 40 years since the riots which rocked Handsworth.
The unrest was based mainly along Lozells Road and was reportedly sparked by the arrest of a black man and a police raid on a pub in the same area.
One man who witnessed it all - is behind a new project called "The Tiny Spark"
He combined his photos of the riots and the poetry of Benjamin Zephaniah to make a film.
Hear Pogus Caesar talk to Rakeem Omar about the project.
