Gareth Thomas is the former Wales rugby captain and has been in Paris ahead of the Rugby World Cup.

He spoke to 5 Live Breakfast about who he鈥檚 backing for the final and how Wales are looking ahead of their first game of this World Cup against Fiji.

Speaking on Wales, he said: 鈥淚 know the pressure that this team will be under now.鈥�

Fiji are ahead of Wales in the rugby standings and they also beat England in one of the Rugby World Cup warm up matches.

鈥淔iji did Wales a favour by beating England,鈥� he said, as Wales are now 鈥渦pping the ante鈥�.

Despite supporting Wales, he said: 鈥淚 can see it being a New Zealand v South Africa final.鈥�

Gareth did, however, tell Rachel Burden, if France win, it would be a 鈥渇airy tale鈥�.

鈥淓verybody loves to see a home team doing well.鈥�
