Met Police pay out over Sarah Everard vigil arrests
The Metropolitan Police has paid damages to two women who were arrested at a vigil for Sarah Everard, after she was kidnapped and murdered by a serving officer. Patsy Stevenson and Dania Al-Obeid took legal action against the force over their detention at the south London protest during Covid restrictions in 2021.
