'Why we love Quantock Drive green space'
A group of people in Ashford are hoping to protect a patch of land - running along Quantock Drive - from being built on in the future, after a new landowner bought the site at auction.
If they can demonstrate enough local people have used it recreationally for at least 20 years, it will be awarded village green status at a Kent County Council meeting.
Residents living in nearby streets have been outlining what they use the land for and why it's important to them.
