Women in comedy: “I don’t feel particularly safe”
Comedian Russell Brand is facing accusations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse, following a joint investigation by Channel 4’s Dispatches programme, The Times and The Sunday Times newspaper. In a statement released on his YouTube account, the comedian says he is the subject of “a coordinated attack” involving “very serious allegations that I absolutely refute”.
Lizzy Lenco is a female comedian from Derby who was approached by Channel 4 to contribute towards the investigation. She’s been speaking to ѿý Radio Derby’s Sally Pepper.
