‘I've already had some very positive results with this immunotherapy in Germany’
Richard Orna, who is 38, is currently getting treatment in Germany for the most aggressive form of brain tumour, glioblastoma.
Speaking to 5 Live’s Tony Livesey, he said: ”I'm wearing a very cool piece of tech that creates waves that basically cancer cells can't deal with. They can't grow, and they can't replicate.”
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer – but there might be some hope on the horizon in the treatment of glioblastoma.
