A new series of George The Poet鈥檚 podcast is on 蜜芽传媒 Sounds to coincide with Black History month.
It takes a look at African history using poetry and music, including independence movements in the 60s and their legacy.
The first episode focuses on Ghana, which was the first African country to break free from colonial rule.
George told Rick Edwards that for this reason, Ghana was a good place to start and from there he can 鈥渓ook at what happened next鈥�.
