A study in South Africa has found that human voices cause more fear in wild mammals than the roar of lions.

Scientists played recordings of predators and people speaking normally through speakers hidden in the Kruger national park.

The study suggests that animals have learnt that contact with humans is more dangerous than contact with lions.
