A new blue plaque in Didsbury's Fog Lane Park
The blue plaque recognises one of the most historically important women's football clubs.
The Manchester Corinthians formed in 1949, after the FA had effectively banned the women's game. But they played to sell-out tournaments in Germany, Venezuela and Portugal and went on to win more than 50 trophies.
