Newmarket: mortgage rise even affects dating
Four and a half million households have re-mortgaged since interest rates started to rise. Although average mortgage rates are starting to fall, those households have already had to make huge life changes to afford the bills and many are locked in at those higher levels.
Colletta Smith has been investigating the impact for a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Panorama programme up on iPlayer now.
