UNRWA 鈥榦n verge鈥� of closing Gaza facilities
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) says it is 鈥渙n the verge鈥� of shutting down its operations in Gaza.
UNRWA鈥檚 Director of Communications, Juliette Touma, told Newsday: 鈥淲e are on the verge of closing down our operations in Gaza because we are running out of supplies, because our facilities are coming under attack; because our people on the ground are displaced themselves...we lost 14 colleagues who were killed in the past week alone.鈥�
