There's been reports of mail room chaos in Widnes with people going weeks without any mail, missing hospital appointments and missing windows to pay reduced parking fines.

Royal Mail have addressed these complaints saying they have "plans in place and dedicated teams responsible for improving deliveries in Widnes"

However it came to the attention of the local Labour MP for Halton, Derek Twigg.
