A doctor linked to Cambridge University is working in a hospital in Gaza and describes the conditions. And the head of the Woolf Institute in Cambridge – who focus on relations between the world’s religions – looks for signs of hope.
Dr Khamis Elessi is a Cambridge University fellow and is in Gaza. He specialises in pain management and is based at the Turkish Friendship Hospital. He told Dotty McLeod the impact of the conflict will affect thousands or people with common conditions.
