TikTok scams: ‘Suddenly I got a message saying they wanted £300’.

Caroline used to live stream every day to her 145,000 followers until her profile was hacked by a scammer who demanded £300 to return her TikTok account. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office says fraud makes up forty percent of all crime in England and Wales.

As part of #BeScamSafe week across the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, Laura McGhie spoke to Caroline about her experience. TikTok says it is committed to protecting the safety of their community and Caroline's account has been restored.
