During the trial at Chelmsford Crown Court the jury heard the lecturer and her husband Ertan Ersoy had a volatile relationship.

The 51 year old who was also a university lecturer admitted manslaughter.

Prosectors refused to accept the plea and all members of the duty found him guilty of murder
