More flood warnings likely in England, Environment Agency warns
Storm Ciarán continues to affect regions across the UK, and has brought large-scale power cuts to a number of areas.
There are almost 280 flood warnings and alerts across England at the moment. In Leicestershire, there's a flood alert for the Lower parts of the River Soar, including tributaries from Cossington to Redhill at the River Trent. There's also a flood warning for the River Trent and tributaries to Castle Donington.
The Met Office believe the storm's path will now be further south than anticipated, but amber and yellow weather warnings remain - including for rain along the north-east coast of England, the east coast of Scotland and all of Wales.
Storm Ciaran has set the record for the lowest mean sea level pressure recorded in November in England and Wales. Hear more from Leicestershire amateur weatherman Phil Morrish.
