Leicestershire name permanent head coach
Leicestershire County Cricket Club have appointed former South Africa seamer Alfonso Thomas as head coach after helping the Foxes to their first piece of silverware for 12 years last season.
Thomas worked as joint interim head coach with former England batter James Taylor last season following Paul Nixon's departure.
Five months after Nixon was put on gardening leave, Thomas takes on the job on a two-year deal. Taylor will work as his assistant.
