Cornish village turns out to honour “a real heroâ€
A Cornish community has paid its respects to one of the last members of the parachute regiment to have seen active service in World War Two
Mullion came to a standstill as the funeral procession for 97 year old Herbie Bray made its way through the village where he was born.
Veterans travelled from across Cornwall, and as far away as Southampton, to honour the former soldier, who had fought in Holland and Germany, before being sent to Palestine after the war as a peacekeeper.
