The 100ft Remembrance Day poppy tribute in Henley
For Remembrance Day this year, a giant poppy has been painted at Mills Meadow in Henley to support the Royal British Legion’s appeal.
The poppy, which is about 100ft wide and 90ft tall, was drawn by a pre-programmed robot and filled in by hand using a backpack sprayer. The paint used is completely organic and so will not harm the environment.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire’s Kirsten O’Brien speaks to artist and drone operator Richard Pinches about his creation.
