Remembering the Coventry Blitz
German bombers with around 30-thousand incendiary bombs attacked the city that night, in a relentless 12-hour raid. The aim was to knock out Coventry as a major centre for war production. Mabel Hewitt was 11-years-old when the Coventry Blitz happened. She talked with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Sally Johnson.
