How a fin whale washed up on a Newquay beach
Anthea Hawtrey-Collier, a Marine Strandings Data Officer explains how a pathology team have been carrying out a full post-mortem examination on the fin whale that washed up on Fistral beach in Newquay. A team of volunteers from the Marine Strandings Network have also been taking measurements and photographs. The police are asking people to stay away from the area.
