Controversial Peterborough landlord licenses
Peterborough city council wants to bring in something called "selective licensing" in parts of the city.
If approved, landlords in some areas of the city will have to get a licence in order to rent their property out.
The council say this is to recognise and support good landlords, and make sure homes are well-maintained.
Emma Baugh, has been out with housing officers in Peterborough.
