Sheppey: All is not tranquil at the Oasis
Teachers at a school on the Isle of Sheppey have taken strike action over staff safety concerns.
Members of the National Education Union at two Oasis Academy sites walked out over the management of poor pupil behaviour and staff and pupil safety.
The Oasis Trust says its confident they've made significant progress and are working hard to try and avoid future disruption.
The school will be taken over by two new Academy Trusts from next September.
Phil Harrison joined teachers and NEU members, Claire Oosthuizen and Jo Gilmore on the picket line to hear their concerns.
