A consignment of Enoki mushrooms which was found to be contaminated with listeria has been sent to deep landfill. The consignment had come as part of a cargo imported through Felixstowe Docks last month. Environmental health officers found that the mushrooms were unfit for human consumption and said they had to be destroyed.
