Will Derbyshire County Council run out of money?
Derbyshire County Council have stopped all non-essential spending and recruitment is being paused to try and save money. The measures have helped the council reduce their £46 million pound budget deficit to £33 million, but the administration admits further "difficult" decisions are needed to close the gap.
Deputy Leader Simon Spencer is the Cabinet member responsible for the budget. He spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Derby's Ian Skye.
