Ava White: A moment which shocked the city
It was the 25th of November 2021 and the lights had just been switched on in Liverpool city centre when news broke of a stabbing. A 12 year old girl had been attacked by a 14 year old boy.
A single knife wound to the neck after a meaningless row about a snap chat video ended Ava White’s life.
It was a moment which shocked the city, and police and medics vowed to do all they could to make a change.
Ava’s mum, Leeann, has spoken about the progress made since Ava died and what still needs to be done.
