Wickford: Our cat was shot
Emma from Wickford discovered her missing 1 year-old cat Loki had been shot. Emma spent £2,500 on emergency care, and was told an operation and further treatment would cost £10,000 but there was no guarantee her cat would walk again.
In a statement, Essex Police said: "they received a report of a cat being fatally injured in Wickford" and "it’s believed that the cat had been shot with a BB gun. This report came into us the following day and due to a lack of positive lines of enquiry, the investigation has since been filed. Should further information come forward, the investigation could be reviewed."
