Leicester gets £6 million boost from Radio 2 event
Figures calculated by Leicester City Council show the Radio 2 in the Park music festival provided a major boost to the city's economy.
Nearly six million pounds was generated for local businesses with pubs, hotels and even cake shops in the Victoria Park area flourishing during the event.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester reporter Kevin Ncube has been speaking to businesses around the park, and Kate Nicholls - CEO of UK Hospitality - tells Ady Dayman how much of a welcome boost the event was for businesses across Leicester.
