COP28 look ahead: How do young people feel?
The annual United Nations climate meeting, on how to prepare for future climate change, will start tomorrow in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It's hoped the conference will keep alive hopes to limit global temperature rises to 1.5C.
Climate campaigner Laura Young (aka LessWasteLaura) spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live.
She thinks many young people will be anxious ahead of COP28 and might worry that their voices aren't being heard.
"Young people are not yet in any decision-making positions", she said.
"We need to be listening more to them and definitely getting their energy when it comes to these conferences".
She added young people "play such an essential role in this, in bringing that creativity and really simple answers".
