COP28: ‘I can’t speak for everyone, but that’s ok.’
COP28 is the annual global conference where governments from around the world agree on policies to tackle climate change.
It starts on the 30th November in the United Arab Emirates.
It is hoped the summit will help keep alive the aim of limiting long-term global temperature rises to 1.5C which was agreed by nearly 200 countries in Paris in 2015.
But in the last 12 months we've seen numerous extreme weather events around the world which have resulted in climate records being broken.
Tori Tsui, a Bristol based climate activist and mental health advocate spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live Drive.
Tori, who recently featured on the front cover of Vogue along with the singer Billie Eilish after featuring in her documentary called 'Overheated', says: “A lot of people care about the climate crisis, it’s just they’re not seeing people represented in the space who speak for their community.â€
