Carlisle Sherlock Holmes deer stalker auction
A rare piece of TV memorabilia is going under the hammer in Carlisle this weekend. Sherlock Holmes' distinctive deerstalker hat, as worn by Peter Cushing in the 1960s ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ series, is due to be sold by Laidlaw Auctioneers and Valuers. The hat came to their Carlisle saleroom from a Cushing fan in Australia and auctioneer Paul Laidlaw shared his excitement with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Cumbria's Helen Millican.
