Blood Scandal: 'Huge step in the right direction'

MPs have voted to speed up compensation for victims of the NHS infected blood scandal, delivering Rishi Sunak's first Commons defeat as Prime Minister.

Ministers will now have to set up a body to run the scheme within three months of a new bill becoming law.

Tammy Gooding spoke with Worcester MP Robin Walker, Janine Jones from Bromsgrove and Andy Evans from Worcester.

Robin Walker was one of the conservative MPs who rebelled and voted with Labour on the matter.

Janine Jones lost her brother Marc Payton after he contracted HIV and Hepatitis C through contaminated blood speaks on the matter.

Andy Evans contracted Hepatitis C and HIV when he was 5 years old and is the Chair of the Tainted Blood campaign group
