Meet one of our inspiring winners from 2023 - Martin Woolner, the winner of the Green category.
Martin has dedicated his life to wildlife and conservation, saying "things with four, six, eight or no legs desperately need a spokesperson, as they cannot voice their own concerns". He established Wild Maidenhead, writing reports on sites of known or potential biodiversity.
Martin is well-known locally, turning up at events with his "nature table". He turned 80 in 2022 and still cycles to meetings.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Andrew Peach chats to Martin about his work - and hear the moment he was presented with his Make a Difference Award.
