Christmas pudding chase in memory of Weymouth boy
Weymouth water sports charity The Will Mackaness Trust is running its tenth annual 'Chase the Pudding' and 'Chase the Elf' events on Weymouth beach. Dozens of Santas will be chasing a Christmas pudding and an elf.
The trust was set up in 2008 in memory of 16-year-old Will Mackaness, who died on his GCSE results day after bravely battling an aggressive brain tumour. The trust aims to keep Will's love of water sports alive through offering opportunities to local youngsters.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris has been speaking to Will's mum Pam Govier, who runs the trust, and Isabel Hurrell, who has been along to some of the sessions.
