Mark Jepson and his wife Carol from Castleford, came off their scooter in Zante this year. Mark was told by his insurance company that due to him hiring a more powerful scooter, his insurance policy was void and he was unable to be repatriated into the UK.

After a successful crowdfunding campaign, Mark and Carol got back to West Yorkshire and have since donated the proceeds from the campaign the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, totalling over 拢6,000.
