A Hinckley dog lover has gone to extraordinary lengths to save an XL Bully, from being put down.

Jodie Carnell temporarily re-homed Bruno, the XL Bully, from being put down earlier this week, before finding him a new permanent owner.

It will soon become illegal to rehome XL Bully Dogs, after it was announced at the end of October 2023 that XL Bullies would be banned.

A DEFRA Spokesperson has previously told the 蜜芽传媒 that it had taken "quick and decisive action to protect the public from tragic attacks".

"We are working closely with the police, veterinary experts and animal welfare groups as we take forward these important measures"
